ACO Med Supply is an award-winning distributor of medical supplies based out of beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina. The company proudly services medical communities in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and continues to grow. The ACO Med Supply Warehouse is over 51,000 square feet and ships products from over 250 manufacturers. Along with the Charlotte-area location, ACO Medical Supply is also affiliated with ACO Tennessee in conjugation with KBI and Miotech Sports Medicine, located in Michigan. (Both of which are DJO area distributors).
ACO Med Supply has focused on the business aspect of the medical practice so the clinical staff can concentrate on their patients. With that focus, ACO Med Supply experienced rapid growth and quickly relocated, doubling the warehouse space. The most recent expansion in July, 2009, allowed for a warehouse of 51,000 square feet, making it one of the largest distribution centers for orthopedic products in the southeast. ACO Med Supply currently has 70 people within our sales, service and operations area.
As we continue to focus on growth in our current market of the Carolinas, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky and Georgia, it seems appropriate to remember those customers who have contributed to our success. Stuart (Stu) Ross
ACO's founder and chief executive Stu attended college at the University of South Carolina where he studied marketing and business. Prior to creating ACO his employment over the years included being a Women's Apparel Sales Representative for Jarrell Distributors, Inc., 1982 to 1984; manufacturer's representative for Jones Apparel Group, Inc., 1984 to 1986; Direct Regional Sales Representative for Calvin Klein Sports Women's, 1987 to 1990. Stu then joined the world of medical sales by becoming a Medical Sales Representative for DonJoy Orthopedics, 1991 to present.
After immediate success and experience in medical sales he, then founded ACO Med Supply, Inc., on June 1, 1995, along with Jimmy Gray. Stuart currently works in a sales development role over sales representatives, on behalf of DonJoy Orthopaedics and ACO Med Supply. He is married to his beautiful wife, Martha, and they have six children, Andrew, Alex, Trevor, Travis, Sydney and Reagan. Greg joined ACO Med Supply as a Sales Representative in August of 2001. His duties include total management of the sales force for DonJoy and ACO Med Supply in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Southeastern Georgia. Greg is part of the senior leadership team for ACO Med Supply in Charlotte, North Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine from the University of South Carolina and a Master's of Science Degree from the University of Tennessee. Since joining ACO Med Supply, Greg has been a winner of many sales awards from DonJoy and ACO Med Supply, including Donjoy Representative of the Year in 2007. Greg resides in Columbia, South Carolina with his wife, Erin, his daughter, Sarah, and his son, John.
